Landscape Construction Lead hand

To qualify for this position, you are self-motivated, have good people and organizational skills, professional attitude and appearance, and a valid G license with a good driving record. You have a minimum of 3 year’s experience as a Landscape Labourer and are looking for a career in Landscape Construction.

You are experienced and knowledgeable in all facets of landscape construction, including natural stone installation, interlock, carpentry and planting. If you have a Class A drivers license or experience with concrete, irrigation and landscape lighting, that would be an asset.

You have the following training and education:

• You have your grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

Your duties will include the following:

• Leading, coaching and motivating crews.
• Reading plans.
• Plant identification.
• Operating small construction equipment including skid steers and excavators.
• Snow clearing operations in winter.

This is a full time position providing 40-60 hours of employment per week, paying $16-18 per hour.
