John and Ruth Wright founded Wright Landscape Services in 1967, and over 50 years later we remain a family oriented landscape services team.

Growing up in the business

David Wright, son of John and Ruth and current president, grew up in the family business. He started out in the grounds maintenance division for several years but enjoyed the daily challenge of building new landscapes. Eventually, David earned his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph and spent the next several years travelling and sharing his talents on large commercial, residential and municipal projects across Southern Ontario, Western Canada, the United States and Asia. 

Dave joined Wright Landscape in 2002 and together with the team have grown the business from it's early roots in lawn maintenance, into one of Waterloo Regions largest and oldest full service Landscape companies.
